ABOUT OUR CREDIT UNION

CrossRoads Community Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative whose purpose is to meet the financial needs of its members. We are member-owned. In other words, we answer to our members – not a small group of stockholders or an out-of-town corporation. Our profits are returned to our members in the form of low/no-fee products, higher yields on savings accounts and lower interest rates on loans. We invite you to experience the CrossRoads Community FCU difference and join our very special financial family.

SOME THINGS COME AND GO.
OUR CREDIT UNION ISN’T ONE OF THEM.

In 1938, CrossRoads Community Federal Credit Union started as the Westinghouse Buffalo Division Federal Credit Union. We were established to provide affordable loans and higher-yield saving options for the employees of Westinghouse Electric Company. Our mission then, and now, is to become the financial provider of choice by offering the highest standard of service to our members, providing excellent, friendly, personal quality financial services, while promoting savings, affordable lending, and safeguarding our members’ assets.

During the last 85 years, we added over 100 member organizations and obtained a community-based charter that enabled us to serve more of our community. Today we have over 6,400 members in Amherst, Blasdell, Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Clarence, Depew, East Aurora, Elma, Grand Island, Hamburg, Kenmore, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Orchard Park, Tonawanda, West Seneca, and Williamsville.

Our commitment to traditional values of respect, service and fiscal responsibility has made us one of the oldest, most trusted credit unions in Western New York. We carry that commitment forward as we continue to grow and meet the financial needs of our member for the next 82 years.
