CrossRoads Community FCU strictly adheres to the following privacy policy to ensure that any information you supply to us will be held in complete confidence.
CrossRoads Community FCU will collect only the personal information that is necessary to conduct our business and provide you with competitive financial products and services.
CrossRoads Community FCU will protect your personal information. We will maintain strong security controls to ensure that member information in our files and computers is protected.
You will have full access to your information. As a CrossRoads Community FCU member, you will always have the opportunity to review your information and make necessary changes to ensure that our records are complete and accurate.
We will share information regarding you with third parties only when, in our judgment, either (a) you have authorized the sharing of information, (b) we have previously informed you in disclosures that we will share information, (c) we are compelled by law or valid court order to do so, or (d) we have entered into an agreement with a third party for support services (in which case the third party will also agree to maintain the confidentiality of our members’ information).
CrossRoads Community FCU will partner only with businesses that follow the same strict confidentiality requirements. The businesses we select will offer products designed to enhance our members’ economic well-being. Under no circumstances will we authorize these firms to charge your account without your expressed consent, and we will not sell member information to telemarketing firms.
ONLINE PRIVACY – CrossRoads Community FCU recognizes the importance of maintaining a presence on the World Wide Web for informational and e-commerce purposes in both attracting new members and retaining existing members. For the purpose of this statement, online activity is defined as the ability of members to access personal account information and general Credit Union information, to initiate transactions on your Credit Union accounts, and to apply for additional Credit Union products and services online. Our Privacy Statement is the same whether you are online or not.
ONLINE FORMS – CrossRoads Community FCU provides several online form resources (i.e.: Consumer Loan Application) to better serve the needs of its members. Personal information provided by a user via any of the Credit Union’s online forms is used by the Credit Union only to process the member’s request for service. All information that passes between CrossRoads Community FCU Internet Banking and the user’s personal computer (PC) is encrypted to protect the user’s privacy
E-MAIL COMMUNICATION – Personal information transmitted to CrossRoads Community FCU may be used by Credit Union staff to respond to inquiries for service or information or improve the service the Credit Union provides. Since e-mail communication may not be secure against interception by unauthorized individuals, users should seek alternatives to e-mail when it is necessary to provide sensitive or personal information. Therefore, the Credit Union will not knowingly transmit or inquire to sensitive or personal information that can compromise or violate a user’s privacy when communicating via e-mail.
NOTICE CONCERNING THIRD PARTY WEBSITES/ADDRESSES – CrossRoads Community FCU provides links to other websites/e-mail addresses solely as a convenience to our members and other customers. CrossRoads Community FCU is not responsible for the content or availability of these sites/addresses. Please be advised that CrossRoads Community FCU does not represent either the Third Party or you, the member, if you enter into a transaction. In addition, Third-Party Sites are not covered by CrossRoads Community FCU privacy or other policies. Further, CrossRoads Community FCU is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of the Third-Party Sites. You are advised to review the privacy statement applicable to each Third-Party Site you visit.
